![]() There was no importance or any impact in the storyline. Nothing made sense, and I actually believe this season was irrelevant. Everything was all over the place, the villains, the subplots. Again this is my opinion, but I HATED it. Season 5: My feelings for Season 5 are quite harsh and I apologize in advance if you particularly enjoyed this season. The presence of the villains from the previous season really made it better, and more likable, but I wasn't a fan of it. This season didn't really stand out to me much, but I still had my special moments where I would laugh till I could no longer breathe, or where I cried my eyes out. Season 4: This season focused particularly on one character and I liked that they finally gave him that depth, and importance. The best part is that this season is quite literally the only reason I ever watched the show and I was not disappointed says a lot. This entire season had me on the edge of my seat, and there was not a single boring moment or filler episode. I need to have a word with Miss Julie Plec, because she is not allowed to make villains that devilishly lovable. I noticed how the camerawork, and quality definitely got better this season, but may I say, the mf BUILDUP OF THE VILLAINS. I loved the introduction of the next season's villains in the last couple of episodes, and I was overall happy with this season as well. ![]() Her development from being an insecure and shallow character to THE strongest female character on the show, particularly warmed my heart. There was one character who particularly stood out to me this season and remained my favorite until the end. The love triangle really hit different this episode. The main villain of the season is *chef's kiss*, and I loved the subtle hinting of tension between two characters who like each other. Season 2: Among my top three favorites, I enjoyed this season quite a lot. I really wish they had paid more attention to it, but other than that, it was a great start to the show. It was an abusive relationship between two characters, and I found it so sad, and heartbreaking, that it was spoken about, maybe only a couple of mentions later on in the season. There was one subplot that was very upsetting in the beginning of the season that the writers seemed to forget about later on, and I didn't like it at all. Even in 22 episodes, the seemingly bad guy in the beginning, slowly gained our love, showing he had flaws but also good qualities. One of the most beautiful aspects of the writing of the show is the development. They didn't overwhelm you with information in the first couple episodes, and stretched it along. Season 1: I love how they slowly broke into the whole vampire idea. I am NO professional, but I did my best to focus on every element (directing, camerawork, characters etc) For all my Troublemakers who watched Dylan's TVD commentary and want to know how the story goes, along with a season by season review WITHOUT ANY SPOILERS? I got you.
